I’m thrilled to share with you my recent collaboration with one of my favourite Wellington companies Little Yellow Bird. Together we have created the Finding Joy t-shirt, baby onesie and baby leggings. Worldwide shipping is available and a portion of proceeds from each sale will be donated to Women’s Refuge.
About the design:
The idea for this design came from a series of illustrations I did which focused on tiny things that were enough to make today a good day. For example, maybe a nice sandwich is enough to make today a good day. Perhaps it’s a pretty flower, a cute little bug you’ve found or a well-sharpened pencil. It’s essentially about finding joy in all the small things.
About Little Yellow Bird:
Little Yellow Bird is a sustainable apparel company producing everyday wear that is traceable back to source and recyclable at the end of life. Born out of a desire to trace the origin of the clothes we wear while ensuring everyone involved in the supply chain is fairly treated. Every aspect of their production process is entirely traceable, ethical and transparent. Their products are made using 100% organic cotton with sustainable fibre production and fair trade conditions. LYB also accepts back your old cotton garments and recycles them back into the textile production chain. They’re a company acknowledging the impact the fashion industry has on our planet, and doing their part to turn it around.
